A 6-Week Somatic Exploration to Help you Bring your Nervous System into The State of More Balance, Restore Connection, and Cultivate Inner Safety.

In this gentle and empowering 6-week course, we explore trauma recovery through the lens of Polyvagal Theory — a groundbreaking understanding of how our nervous system responds to safety, danger, and connection.

By learning how your autonomic nervous system shapes your daily experience, you’ll develop tools to regulate from within, access a greater sense of safety, and move toward healing with compassion and self-trust.

This is not just a course — it’s an invitation to reconnect with your body, reclaim your resilience, and create pathways for lasting emotional and relational healing.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
-
Nervous system literacy: Understand your body’s automatic responses (fight, flight, freeze, fawn, shutdown) and how they’ve served you.
-
Tracking safety cues: Identify what helps you feel grounded and safe — internally and externally.
-
Somatic and breath-based regulation tools: Learn body-centered practices to shift states gently and sustainably.
-
Mapping your personal nervous system: Recognize your own triggers and glimmers (moments of safety, joy, and connection).
-
Rebuilding connection: Explore how co-regulation, boundaries, and attunement support recovery.
-
Integration and self-compassion: Develop practices to stay present with yourself in challenging moments without judgment.
*You will be receiving useful handouts throughout the course with journaling prompts and exercised to come back to in your own time.
*You will also be invited to the Whatsapp group for the course where I will be able to answer any questions that might arise between sessions and you will have a chance to share your experiences and connect with your course friends.

WHAT IS POLYVAGAL THEORY
Polyvagal Theory is a science-based framework developed by Dr. Stephen Porges that explains how our autonomic nervous system responds to safety, danger, and life threat — shaping how we feel, behave, and connect with others.

At its core, Polyvagal Theory describes how our nervous system constantly scans for cues of safety or threat (a process called neuroception), and how it reacts below our conscious awareness to protect us — sometimes in ways that can feel confusing or overwhelming, especially after trauma.

Polyvagal-Informed Healing Tools Include:

-
Gentle movement or touch
-
Breathwork that supports regulation
-
Sound, music, vocal toning
-
Safe social connection and co-regulation
-
Practices to tune into and trust the body
