Nervous System Regulation and Sound Bath Workshop

30th March 10-1pm | Space At The Mill | £35 early bird 

With an open heart, I invite you to this 3h workshop created with the intention to help you find ways to take better care of your nervous system, learn useful tools to self-regulate and self-soothe and deepen your connection to the felt-sense of Self.

 

In the world that thrives on disconnection and wants us to believe that we are somehow not good enough, these practices can be seen as pathways that help you come Home, back to yourself.

 

Through the application of Polyvagal Theory, somatics, embodied movement, breath, self-applied touch and sound, you will learn how to fine-tune your mental and physical health with awareness practices that can easily be integrated into you daily life.By showing up for yourself and engaging in practices that call for more tenderness and curiosity to get to know ourselves better, we can form a stronger bond not just with ourselves, but with others .

 

This offering is for you if:

 

  • You are feeling depleted and/or burnt out

  • You are struggling with anxiety, depression or a sense of overwhelm

  • You are interested in learning more about your nervous system and its relation to Vagus Nerve

  • You are ready to learn useful and powerful tools to take care of your mental and physical health

  • You are seeking a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you

  • You are a lover of sound baths and the therapeutic effects they have on our system

 

This beautiful immersion will be a combination of meditation and breath work, gentle embodied movement practices, self-applied touch and restorative yoga.

 

We will end the session with magical sound bath guided by Sabira Jade. As a Sound Therapist and Musician, Sabira creates a gentle and ethereal Sound Bath experience using crystal bowls, percussion and voice. Her sound baths are an invitation into the senses and into deep rest. Sound baths are an opportunity to practice listening, listening to the sounds and coming into harmony with all that is.

 

My hope is that you will come away feeling more empowered with the knowledge and skills you gained and more centred, connected and grounded in the earth of your body x

 

There will be 15min orientation and integration time at the end of the session and opportunity to share if you wish to.
